ThenSaulsaidunto his servantsthatstoodabout him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jessegiveevery one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
That all of you haveconspiredagainst me, and there is nonethatsheweth me that my son hathmade a leaguewith the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or shewethunto me that my son hathstirred up my servantagainst me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
And Saulsaidunto him, Why have ye conspiredagainst me, thou and the son of Jesse, in thatthouhastgiven him bread, and a sword, and hastenquired of God for him, that he shouldriseagainst me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
And the kingsaidunto the footmenthatstoodabout him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; becausetheirhandalso is withDavid, and becausetheyknewwhen he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the kingwould not put forththeirhand to fallupon the priests of the LORD.
