By reason of the abundance of his horsestheirdustshallcoverthee: thy wallsshallshake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shallenterinto thy gates, as men enterinto a citywherein is made a breach.
And theyshallmake a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and theyshallbreakdown thy walls, and destroy thy pleasanthouses: and theyshall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.
Then all the princes of the sea shallcomedownfromtheirthrones, and lay awaytheirrobes, and put off theirbroideredgarments: theyshallclothethemselveswithtrembling; theyshall sit upon the ground, and shalltremble at everymoment, and be astonished at thee.
And theyshalltake up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thoudestroyed, thatwastinhabited of seafaring men, the renownedcity, whichwaststrong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, whichcausetheirterror to be on all thathaunt it!
When I shallbringtheedownwiththemthatdescendinto the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in placesdesolate of old, withthemthat go down to the pit, thatthou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
