Theyshall die of grievousdeaths; theyshall not be lamented; neithershallthey be buried; but theyshall be as dungupon the face of the earth: and theyshall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and theircarcasesshall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
For thussaith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I willcause to cease out of thisplace in youreyes, and in yourdays, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
And it shallcome to pass, whenthoushaltshewthispeople all thesewords, and theyshall say untothee, Whereforehath the LORDpronounced all thisgreatevilagainst us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we havecommittedagainst the LORD our God?
Behold, I willsend for manyfishers, saith the LORD, and theyshallfishthem; and afterwill I send for manyhunters, and theyshallhuntthemfromeverymountain, and fromeveryhill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentilesshallcomeuntotheefrom the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathershaveinheritedlies, vanity, and thingswhereinthere is no profit.
