Why hastthouprophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, Thishouseshall be likeShiloh, and thiscityshall be desolatewithout an inhabitant? And all the peopleweregatheredagainstJeremiah in the house of the LORD.
But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shallsurelybringinnocentblooduponyourselves, and uponthiscity, and upon the inhabitantsthereof: for of a truth the LORDhathsent me unto you to speak all thesewords in yourears.
Micah the Morasthiteprophesied in the days of Hezekiahking of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thussaith the LORD of hosts; Zionshall be plowedlike a field, and Jerusalemshallbecomeheaps, and the mountain of the house as the highplaces of a forest.
