For, lo, the dayscome, saith the LORD, that I willbringagain the captivity of my peopleIsrael and Judah, saith the LORD: and I willcausethem to return to the landthat I gave to theirfathers, and theyshallpossess it.
Thereforefearthou not, O my servantJacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I willsavetheefromafar, and thy seedfrom the land of theircaptivity; and Jacobshallreturn, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and noneshallmake him afraid.
For I am withthee, saith the LORD, to savethee: though I make a full end of all nationswhither I havescatteredthee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I willcorrectthee in measure, and will not leavetheealtogetherunpunished.
All thy lovershaveforgottenthee; theyseekthee not; for I havewoundedtheewith the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thineiniquity; because thy sinswereincreased.
Therefore all theythatdevourtheeshall be devoured; and all thineadversaries, every one of them, shall go intocaptivity; and theythatspoiltheeshall be a spoil, and all thatpreyupontheewill I give for a prey.
Thussaith the LORD; Behold, I willbringagain the captivity of Jacob’stents, and havemercy on his dwellingplaces; and the cityshall be buildedupon her own heap, and the palaceshallremainafter the mannerthereof.
And theirnoblesshall be of themselves, and theirgovernorshallproceedfrom the midst of them; and I willcause him to drawnear, and he shallapproachunto me: for who is thisthatengaged his heart to approachunto me? saith the LORD.
